Goddess Captured Part Two

Swooping into attack position, the Goddess gathers forth the Celestial energy bestowed upon by the Celestial Three eons ago. In times long past, she was made the most powerful creature in the universe, her combat abilities surpassing even those of any two of the Celestial Three.

The blast of energy penetrates the approaching creature only just in time. It's approach vector would bring it slamming into her in mere seconds and for the briefest of moments, as the Goddess see's her energy pass through the creature without much apparent damage she feels that faint unease...

But no, with a horrible screech against the universe, the beast writhes and is finally shunted aside by the Goddess's unwielding power. Its final thoughts those of hatred and despair, but the Goddess feels no remorse, she had read its intent to kill.

It is quiet once again. The creatures hatred vanishing like the wind as life leaves its body.
The Goddess's anger simmers below the surface as she contemplates where such a beast had originated. Certainly it was not natural, which left only one explanation. It had to have been created. Creation was the sole duty of the Celestial Three, but they were benign deities, incapable of evil deeds, which meant one of the created beings must have been behind this new breed of monster.

A smile crosses her lips. There were few races advanced enough to have achieved this task, it would not take her long to hunt down and slay the desacrator. She was nearby one of those planets now, and it seemed like as good a place as any to begin. "So much for downtime," she sighs to herself, "back to work."
